Introduction

KALM Studios respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your information when you use KALM apps, including KALM: Meditation Timer.

The short version: we collect almost nothing. No tracking. No analytics. No ads. Your data stays on your device.

What we collect

Almost
nothing.

On device Theme preference and timer settings are stored locally via browser localStorage. This data never leaves your phone.

Newsletter Your email address, if you subscribe. Used only to send updates about new KALM apps. Stored by Mailchimp.

Contact Messages sent to hello.kalm.app@gmail.com. Stored in Gmail to respond to your inquiry.

Analytics None. We use no analytics services, tracking pixels, or crash reporting tools.

Advertising None. KALM apps contain no ads and use no ad networks.

Third parties

Minimal
dependencies.

Mailchimp — manages email subscriptions for users who opt in. Their privacy policy is at mailchimp.com/legal/privacy.

Google Play Store — collects standard installation and usage data when you install or update KALM on Android. See Google's privacy policy.

Capacitor — an open-source framework we use to package the app. It does not collect data.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third party for marketing purposes.

Access

Request a summary of any data we hold about you. Email us at hello.kalm.app@gmail.com.
Deletion

Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the link in any email, or by contacting us. Clear local device data by clearing app data in your phone settings.
GDPR (EU users)

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, and port your data. Email hello.kalm.app@gmail.com with "GDPR Request" in the subject.
CCPA (California users)

You have the right to know, delete, and opt out of sale (we don't sell data). Email hello.kalm.app@gmail.com with "CCPA Request" in the subject.
Children

KALM apps are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
