What we are

A family of beautiful,
minimal tools.

KALM is built on one principle: less is more. Each app does exactly one thing. Nothing more. The aesthetic is inspired by brands like SMEG — where beauty lives in simplicity, and restraint is the highest form of craft.

We don't want to be your coach. We don't want to track your habits. We want to be a tool. A beautiful, reliable tool. Something you can trust.

What we believe

Simplicity is not laziness.

Every element we remove is a deliberate choice. If we can't justify why something exists, it goes. If you need to explain how to use a tool, the design has failed.
Calm is not quiet.

It's the absence of friction. It's an interface that disappears and leaves you with what matters: your intention.
Design is the product.

The way it feels, the way it looks, the way it responds — that is the product. We invest accordingly.
Ownership matters.

Themes are free, not paywalled. Because the moment you personalize something, you own it. Premium features come later — the core belongs to everyone.
Privacy is non-negotiable.

No tracking. No data collection. No ads. Your meditation timer doesn't need to phone home.

Why this matters

We began where
others ended.

Calm started as a timer. Headspace started as a timer. Insight Timer started as a timer. Each one became a content empire, a social network, a habit tracker. Features stacked on features until the simplicity that made them special was gone.

KALM is focused, intentional, complete. We're building the apps we wanted to use. We hope you do too.
